Its story
36 Pegasi lies almost six hundred light-years away, within the sprawling Pegasus of autumn skies. It is an orange K-class star, most likely an aged giant, whose warm glow contrasts with the bluish whites of the constellation’s younger members. Its light began its journey when Europe was barely starting to recover from the Black Death.
