Its story
Indus, a southern constellation traced by Dutch navigators in the late sixteenth century, contains this yellow-white star some one hundred and fifty-one light years away. Its light departed around the years of the First World War, when European fronts were sinking into the mud of the trenches. It arrives now, a century later, with barely a whisper.
