Its story
Epsilon Equulei lives in the tiny constellation of the Little Horse, second smallest in the sky, about 176 light-years away. It is a multiple system whose components, observed through a telescope, resolve into three suns bound by gravity. To the naked eye it appears as a single yellow-white point; under the instrument it splits open and reveals its choral nature.
