Its story

75 Draconis sits very close to the celestial north pole, within Draco, some 456 light-years away. A G-type star at magnitude 5.38, its quiet golden tone makes it a silent candidate for the title of future polar star at some point in Earth s slow precessional dance. There, in a region of sky that never sets for northern observers, it turns tirelessly around the axis of the world.
