A yellow class G star in Aquila, a distant cousin of the Sun and the same temperate color. Its light has been traveling 246 years: it set out while French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille and a new political order began to be written in blood and ink. It arrives now with the same calm as always, indifferent to those long-gone barricades.
