Binary systemIts story
Almost a neighbour of ours, 41.6 light-years away in Boötes, spins a binary A-type system: two white sisters bound by gravity. Its light set out around 1984, when HIV was being identified and the world learned a new name for human fragility. Hotter than the Sun, with surfaces near 8,500 degrees, both shine with a bright pearly glow, dancing one around the other from remote times.
