Its story
60 Sagittarii forms the north-west corner of the Terebellum, a small four-star asterism laid out like a tight quadrilateral south of Capricorn. Yellow-gold and of G class, it recalls an aging Sun. Its light takes more than three centuries to cross the void to us; it set out in an age when the quadrilaterals of the sky were still being drawn on parchment charts in brown ink.
