Cool red starIts story
In Draco —the dragon coiled about the celestial north pole— burns a red M-type giant. Its light has been on its way almost seven hundred ninety years: it set out as Kublai Khan's Mongols were completing their conquest of China and Europe was barely recovering from the Crusades. Far cooler and vaster than the Sun, it glows with the deep red of stars that have already devoured much of their fuel. A red dragon whose light crosses centuries.
