Hot blue starIts story
Within the drawn bow of the centaur archer, Sagittarius, burns a blue type B star, young and far hotter than the Sun. Its light took roughly 715 years to cross the void: it set out when Dante was finishing the Divine Comedy and the great Arab navigators were crossing the Indian Ocean with their astrolabes. It now arrives as a cold flash, faithful to the course of the arrow aimed at the galactic heart, where the central black hole lies hidden.
