Its story
11 Aquilae is a yellow-white F-type star roughly 158 light-years away, an intimate distance on stellar scales. It hangs within Aquila, not far from dazzling Altair next door. The light reaching us tonight slipped away at the start of the nineteenth century, in the years when Beethoven was first sounding through European salons. A quiet star, unfamous, faithful to a rhythm only the cosmos truly knows.
