Its story
In Lyra, the small constellation that guards Vega, shines this orange K-type star, cooler and with a warmer palette than the Sun. Its light set out 363 years ago, around 1661, when the Restoration of Charles II was being signed in England. Its golden glow goes almost unnoticed by the naked eye, yet it defines that breed of slow, persistent stars that hold up the background of the constellations, like small embers suspended.
