Its story

In the dense fields of Sagittarius, facing the heart of the Milky Way, burns a hot blue B-class star, lying nearly six hundred light-years away. The light that now describes it set out as Constantinople had just fallen to the Ottomans and, in Florence, the Medici were funding a Renaissance that would transform Europe. Its blue tone, far hotter than the Sun's yellow, betrays a violent youth and a short fate.
