Its story

Within Ophiuchus the serpent-bearer glows a yellow G-type star 1129 light years away. Its light set out when Alfred the Great was resisting the Viking invasions in 9th-century England. It belongs to the same spectral family as the Sun, yet its great distance and luminosity suggest a yellow giant far superior in size and brightness.
