Its story
In Hercules —the celestial hero— shines an orange K-type star, cooler and more mature than the Sun. Its light has been travelling some three hundred three years: it set out when Bach was still composing in relative obscurity and Europe was beginning to fill with cafés and gazettes. A golden flame on the flank of an immense hero, kindled at the dawn of the Enlightenment. We look at it today and see the sky of that century.
