Its story
73 Herculis occupies a quiet region of the kneeling hero, well away from his famous keystone. It is a yellow-white F-type star, slightly hotter than the Sun, and its light takes around one hundred and thirty-nine years to cross the void to Earth. In other words: the photons arriving tonight set out when photography had not yet been invented and astronomers still catalogued the stars by unaided eye.
