Variable starIts story
A near neighbour of the Sun —barely 32.8 light-years away— tucked among the bright tips of Cassiopeia. It is a slightly variable orange K-dwarf whose light reaches us after a short trip: it set out around 1993, the year the World Wide Web opened its first public sites and the net stopped being a military experiment.
