Cool red starIts story
It glows like an ember in Phoenix, a southern constellation born on the charts of late-Renaissance Dutch navigators. An M-type star, cool and reddish, probably aged and swollen. Its light took more than six centuries to arrive: it set out when Castilian kings were signing capitulations that would reshape oceans. Within the bird that rises again, it occupies a side feather, with the deep red of stars that already count long lives.
