Its story
Epsilon Sculptoris lives in the quiet Sculptor, another constellation born from Lacaille's eighteenth-century workshop, dedicated to the artist's tools. It is a yellow-white F-type star some 92 light-years away, a relatively close neighbor whose warm glow contrasts with the stellar poverty of its surroundings. In that region of the sky, where the south galactic pole rises, its calm light marks one of the few visible points of the Sculptor.
