Hot blue starIts story
In Ara —the small southern constellation between Scorpius and the Triangle— burns a B-type star, blue-white and very hot, far across the galaxy. Its light departed more than two thousand years ago, in the days of ancient Rome, when Augustus was founding an empire and Virgil finished the Aeneid. It crossed the silence of twenty centuries to arrive, untouched, at this very night.
