Hot blue starIts story
In the curved body of the Scorpion shines a blue-white type-B star, far hotter than the Sun, with the sharp glow of newly polished crystal. Its light set out 366 years ago, when Galileo had recently died and the new heliocentric astronomy was beginning to prevail in Europe despite the resistance of the Church. It has travelled while humanity was finally accepting that the Sun did not orbit the Earth.
