What is HIP 7918

A yellow G-type star, a close cousin of our own Sun, shines in Andromeda barely forty-one light-years away. Its light departed when the first commercial satellites were starting to weave the invisible web that now connects us. Calm, steady, of a hue almost identical to our daytime star —it is one of those rare neighbors that invites imagining temperate worlds turning quietly around it.
