Its story
In Norma, the modest southern constellation of the surveyor's ruler, shines an orange star. Its light crossed some 449 years before reaching us: it set out around 1577, while Tycho Brahe observed the great comet that overturned celestial theories and Francis Drake began his voyage around the world. Cooler than the Sun, its coppery blush quietly adorns the southern sky.
