Zet

Its story

Zeta Normae sits 218 light-years away in Norma, a tiny southern constellation invented by Lacaille in honour of the geometer's tools. A yellow-white F-type star, similar in temperature to the Sun but somewhat hotter, it belongs to a southern figure that most European observers never even reach. Its quiet light shines from a seldom-visited corner of the firmament.
