Its story
In the small southern constellation of Norma shines a white type-A star, hotter than the Sun and with a crystalline glow. Its light set out 167 years ago, when the first electric telegraph lines crossing Europe were being inaugurated and the continent was learning to communicate instantaneously. It has crossed the southern silence while we wove our words through copper and, now, through the air.
