Kap-2
Its story
Kappa-2 Lupi is a white type A star burning some 254 light-years away, on the hind legs of the Wolf. With its twin Kappa-1 it forms an optical pair the unaided eye barely separates and which binoculars cleanly resolve; one of many apparent doubles peopling the rich field of Lupus, crossed in the distance by filaments of the Sco-Cen stellar association.
