Its story

11 Librae is an evolved G-type star pulsing some 219 light-years away within the Scales, the only zodiacal sign embodied by an object rather than a living being. Cooler and more swollen than the Sun, it is in transit toward the giant phase. The ecliptic cuts through this sector and the planets file past periodically, with Mars and Saturn crossing in front of it many times over the past centuries.
