Its story
Within Boötes, the eternal herdsman of the northern sky, an orange K-class giant burns with ancient warmth. Its light began its journey more than nine hundred years ago, when Europe was finishing its Romanesque cathedrals and troubadours roamed the roads. Cooler and far larger than the Sun, its coppery ember tints the constellation with the patina of mature stars.
