Its story
It shines white as an A-type star in Lupus, a sober southern constellation. Its light took just over two hundred years to reach us: it set out when Beethoven was premiering his Third symphony in Vienna and Europe was shaken by the Napoleonic surge. Hotter and shorter-lived than the Sun. Within the wolf s outline it holds a humble post, far from the main lines of the body.
