What is HIP 67942

In Circinus, that small forgotten southern constellation, glows an orange K-type star. Its light set out 942 years ago: it was crossing space as Toledo was retaken by Alfonso VI in 1085, a key moment in the Christian advance through Iberia. Cooler than the Sun, it rests near Alpha Centauri without aspiring to its fame, loyal to its geometric corner.
