Its story
Among the discreet Hunting Dogs, faithful companions of the celestial Herdsman, an orange K-type star shines about 501 light years away. Its light departed around 1525, during the Protestant Reformation, when Luther was already preaching in Wittenberg and Europe was reorganising religiously. Cooler than the Sun, its amber tone betrays a more mature stage of stellar life. The constellation, modest among the great northern presences, grants it a quiet sky, far from the bustle of Ursa Major or Boötes, where its glow can be appreciated patiently.
