Its story
Within the Hunting Dogs, beside the polished figure of the herdsman, shines an orange K-type star 433 light-years away. Its light set out toward us when Philip II was raising El Escorial on the slopes of the Guadarrama, in the heart of the 16th century. Cooler and larger than the Sun, its coppery tone and dense atmosphere make it a star of tepid light that seems to burn in silence.
