Its story

In the mantle of Virgo shines a yellow-white sun, a sharp, nearby F-type star whose light covered 92 years to reach us. When it set out, the first regular radio broadcasts were crossing the European air. Slightly hotter and larger than our Sun, it offers a clean light, almost like freshly printed paper —a serene clarity in the region of sky where the Sun travels on its way to the equinoxes.
