Its story
In the tiny Southern Fly, Musca, shines a yellow type-G star 467 light-years away, a chromatic cousin of the Sun. Its light took flight when Coronado was exploring the borders of New Mexico and Spanish conquistadors were drawing maps of a world still unnamed. It shares our star's golden tint, yet burns far beyond —a sister flame, scattered across the southern firmament.
