Its story

In Cepheus, a circumpolar constellation of the north, shines a white class A star. The light reaching us today set out 270 years ago: it left when James Watt was patenting decisive improvements to the steam engine and the noise of the industrial revolution was beginning to reshape Europe. This light ignores all that smoke: it arrives clean, with no memory of crossing it.
