Its story
Hydra is the longest serpent in the sky, and among its scales lives this white star one hundred and eighty-one light-years away, relatively close on the stellar scale. Its light set out around 1844, the year Samuel Morse sent the first public telegram between Washington and Baltimore. A-class, sharp atmosphere, brightness barely enough to be perceived without instruments under a truly dark sky.
