Its story
In the vast Hydra shines a yellow-white F-type star, slightly hotter and more luminous than the Sun. Its light set out some 112 years ago, at the dawn of the 20th century, when Einstein was publishing general relativity and Europe was crossing the threshold of the First World War. That tempered glow now arrives from the winding body of the longest constellation in the sky.
