Its story
Within the vast Hydra, at 158.3 light years, flickers a yellowish-white class F star. Its light departed around 1867, the year Karl Marx published the first volume of «Das Kapital» in Hamburg. A star slightly hotter than the Sun, close on the cosmic scale, whose broken-white shine stands apart from the warm golden background of the neighbouring constellations.
