Its story

It glows a calm orange from Carina, the keel of the celestial ship sailing the southern skies. Its light, kindled 95 years ago, was already crossing the void when Edwin Hubble proved the universe is expanding. A cool giant —vaster and longer-lived than the Sun— sending Earth the warm echo of that discovery.
