In Carina, the keel of the southern Argo ship, another blue B-class sun burns 736.3 light-years away. Its extreme heat places it among the most violent rungs of the stellar catalogue. The light entering the atmosphere tonight departed when Marco Polo was returning to Venice with his tales of the Far East and Europe was beginning to dream of trade routes to Asia.
