Its story
A white star in Carina, the keel of the southern ship. Its light crossed 682 years of deep space: it set off when European kingdoms were rebuilding after the Black Death and the first printing presses were emerging in East Asia. An A-class star, hotter than the Sun, it radiates a bright, serene white, typical of relatively young stars with very clean atmospheres.
