Its story
A white class A beacon glides through Hydra from some 467 light-years away. Its light set out around 1558, the year Elizabeth I ascended the English throne and an era of maritime exploration and cultural flourishing began. Hot and crisp, this star moves through the largest of all constellations, that slow southern dragon coiling across a quarter of the firmament.
