Its story
In the Great Bear, where the Plough guides the observer's gaze toward the north, beats an orange K-type star, cooler than the Sun, with a warm and quiet glow. Its light takes around 513 years to arrive: what we receive today departed about 1513, just as Vasco Núñez de Balboa was crossing the isthmus of Panama and becoming the first European to glimpse the Pacific Ocean from the Americas.
