Its story
25 Ceti is another of the orange giants populating the body of the sea monster, a K-type star about 333 light-years away. Its light left around 1693, when an earthquake was devastating Sicily and rewriting the baroque cities of the eastern part of the island. Three and a half centuries later, that warm glow reaches our telescopes as a slow echo of a time we now know only through archives.
