Its story

In Leo, one of the great figures of the zodiac, glows this orange K-type star. Its light set out around 773 years ago, near 1253, when Parisian masters were debating at the Sorbonne and the first golden age of European universities was beginning. Cooler than the Sun yet swollen with age, it offers a warm, deep orange. Far from the heart of Regulus, it watches over a sober corner of the Lion, a reminder that great constellations are also made of quiet stars.
