Its story
Little more than a hundred light-years away, a yellow-white F-type star shines in Carina, in the heart of the southern sky. Its light set out around 1920, while Edwin Hubble was preparing to measure cepheids in the Andromeda nebula and prove the universe vast. Today that F-class glow traverses the very cosmos we were only then beginning to name.
