Its story
Lynx also keeps this yellow class G star, a cousin in color to the Sun though far more distant. Its light took 424 years to arrive: when it left, refracting telescopes barely existed and Galileo was about to discover the phases of Venus. Today that light —golden, temperate— lands on instruments its era could not even imagine.
