Its story
In Hydra, the longest serpent of the sky, glows a yellow sun whose light set out around 1721, while Bach was at work on his Brandenburg Concertos. More luminous than the Sun and wearing a familiar golden tone, it feels like a magnified version of our own star. It crossed three centuries to deposit in this sky a serene, almost everyday glow, within a constellation that winds slowly along.
