Hot blue starIts story
19 Hydrae burns with the blue light of hot B-type stars, lying more than six hundred light-years away in the sky's largest constellation. Its dim appearance to the unaided eye conceals a surface temperature far above the Sun's and an existence destined to be brief in cosmic terms. When this light departed, the first book printed with movable type was beginning to circulate in Europe.
