Its story
Beneath the Great Bear —that unmistakable wagon which has guided sailors and walkers alike— shines a yellow-white star with a calm bearing. Its beam set out around 1709, the winter when Daniel Bernoulli and the Bach brothers were just beginning their work. An F-type light arriving late, after three centuries, to a Europe unrecognisable from the one it left.
