Its story
In the sails of the celestial ship shines a yellow sun, a G-type star far bulkier than ours whose light took 1,036 years to reach us. When it set out, Persian astronomers were tuning their tables in the observatories of Baghdad and the American continent remained unknown to Europe. At that distance, its golden glow seems hung from the sails like a patient lantern that has watched too many crossings to be easily impressed.
